    Learning Korean with Dairy Conversation

    This section, the Dairy Conversation, will be written about situations could be happened in Korea, South to help foreigner study Korean more fun & easy.

     

    I am gonna suppose some situations could be happened in Korea, and write it both in Korean and English with how to pronounce them in Korea.

     

    I really wish this section would help you foreigners study Korean easily and fun.

    Let's start!

     

    Suppose you are in the Incheon International Airport.

     

     

    인천국제공항.

    (At the Incheon International Airport.)

    [Incheon Gukje Gonghang]

     

    나는 지금 이민 수속을 마치고 보안 검색대를 통과한 뒤 면세 구역에 있다.

    (I am in the duty-free area after finishing immigration and passing security area.)

    [Naneun Jigeum Yimin Susok-eul Machigo Boan Gumsaekdae-reul Tonggwahan-dwi Myeonse Guyeok-ea Itda.]

     

    나 : (면세 구역 내에 화장품 매장에 가고 싶은데 길을 못 찾겠네..)

    (Me : I want to go to a cosmetic store, but I can't find the way how to get there.)

    [Na : Myeonse Guyeok Nae-e Hwajangpum Maejang-e Gago Sipeunde Gil-eul Mot Chatgetne.]

     

    나 : (저기 인포메이션에 가서 길을 물어보자.)

    (Me : I should ask the information center for how to get there.)

    [Na : Jeoki Information-e Gaseo Gil-eul Muleoboja.]

     

    나 : 안녕하세요. 실례합니다. 길 좀 물어볼게요.

    (Me : Hello, excuse me. I would like to ask you for direction.)

    [Na : Annyeonghaseyo. Silyehabnida. Gil Jom Muleobol-geyo.]

     

    직원 : 네, 어디 찾으세요?

    (Staff : Sure, where are you looking for?)

    [Jikwon : Ne, Eodi Chateuseyo?]

     

    나 : 화장품 매장을 찾고 있습니다.

    (Me : I am looking for the Cosmetic store.)

    [Na : Hwajangpum Maejang-eul Chatgo Itseumnida]

     

    직원 : 아, 화장품 매장 말씀이십니까? 알겠습니다.

    (Staff : Ah, Cosmetic Store? Sure.)

    [Jikwon : Ah Hwajangpum Maejang Malsseum-yisipnika? Al-getseumnida.]

     

    직원 : 제 뒷쪽으로 18번 게이트 보이세요?

    (Staff : Can you see the 18 Gate behind me?)

    [Jikwon : Je Dwitjjokeuro Sippal-beon Gate Boyiseyo?]

     

    나 : 네, 보입니다.

    (Me : Yes, I can see.)

    [Na : Ne, Boyipnida.]

     

    직원 : 18번 게이트 바로 옆에 보면 맥도날드가 보일거에요.

    (Staff : You might see Mcdonald's just beside 18 Gate.)

    [Jikwon : 18-beon Gate Baro Yeope Bomyeon Mcdonald's-ga Boilgeoeyo.]

     

    직원 : 맥도날드 쪽으로 우회전 하셔서 5m 정도 걸어가시면 화장품 상점이 보여요.

    (Staff : Turn right side around Mcdonald's and walk 5m straight, then you might see a cosmetic store.)

    [Jikwon : Mcdonald's Jjokeuro Wuhwijeon Hasyeoseo O-meter Jeongdo Geoleogasimyeon Hwajangpum Sangjeom-yi Boyeoyo.]

     

    나 : 친절한 설명 감사합니다. 좋은 하루 되세요.

    (Me : Thank you for your kind explanation. Have a nice day.)

    [Na : Chinjeolhan Seolmyeong Gamsahabnida. Joeun Haru Dwiseyo.]

     


     

    Here we go. I would keep writing a dairy conversation could be happened in life to let you guys learn Korean more easily with it. You can compare the english translation and the sentences written as how it is pronounced.

     

    I really wish this could be helpful for you guys to learn Korean. I heard a lot of foreigners are trying to study Korean these days :) Glad to hear this.
